Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. The SL300 has a strong battery. It can do up to 60 full trips (up and down) on battery power. This means you won’t get stuck if the power goes out.

Yes. The seat can swivel, and it has a safety lock so the lift only moves when the seat is facing forward. The regular seat turns manually, but you can get an upgrade. The upgrade lets the seat and footrest move automatically, which helps people with weak hands or legs.

The main control is a small switch on the armrest. You also get two wireless remotes. They can “call” the lift to your floor or “send” it to the other floor for someone else.

The lift moves at 20 feet per minute. This is a safe speed that feels comfortable while still being fast enough to get you up or down the stairs.

The SL300 has sensors in the footrest. They stop the lift if something like a shoe or pet is in the way. You can also add extra sensors around the lift for more protection.

The rail is fixed to the stairs using brackets. It does not attach to the wall, so your walls stay safe. You can put it on either the left or right side of the stairs.
