Yes. The Freecurve operates on rechargeable batteries and has charging stations built into the top and bottom of the rail. A fully charged stairlift can continue making several trips during a household power outage.
Yes. An optional two-way powered swivel turns the chair as it travels, providing additional knee clearance on narrow stairs and tight turns. Optional parking, overrun, and powered-hinge configurations can also help keep landings and doorways clear.
